The University of Utah Learn Genetics website is full of concise illustrations, photographs, and interactive components that make learning about genetics fun. Try exploring the website by clicking on the links on the right hand column, and you might come across some neat things. My personal favorites are the Biotechniques Virtual Laboratory and Mouse Party (beware of sound). The thing I like about this site is that it presents ideas clearly in a non-intimidating manner, making it appropriate to a wide range of audience. You don’t have to know a lot about genetics to enjoy it, but knowing it will increase your appreciation for the way the information is presented.
