Unlike most strains of the Western Jackalope, which are related to either the Western Mule Deer or the Blacktail Deer, the Durer Jackalope is nearer to the Pronghorn Antelope, as evinced by the simpler set of antlers. They're more common in the eastern foothills of the Rockies, and are especially prevalent around Morrison, Co., especially after Little Feat or The Dead shows at Red Rocks!!

Hello there,

Many thanks for your generous post. I was wondering if you could provide any insight into the design process. How does everything fit together? Is it extensive planning and millions of caliper measurements or are there some shortcuts/methods?

Thanks again,

Hi, Janet. We've never met. I've linked to your posts, because blogs like John's remind me of Ed's pioneering macro photography. I worked with Ed and Sandy on a 2008 museum exhibit and enjoyed an overnight visit in their Tea House. Ed's extensive, dry-laid stone paths impressed me as an insight into his well-organized mind. Sandy asked me to help him publish a couple of embiid papers and a photo book (however, not the one I would have chosen), but the timing didn't work out for me. Are you still in contact with them?
